The trees other companies turn down

There's no flat rate, and anybody quoting one over the phone is guessing. Price comes down to size, access, and what's underneath the tree. A tree in an open field comes down in an hour. The same tree between a house and a fence has to be climbed and lowered piece by piece, and that takes a crew most of a day. Estimates are free and we give you the number in writing before anything starts.

That's most of what we do. Nothing gets dropped — the climber takes the limbs off in sections and we rope each piece down to the ground. The roof never takes a hit. If the tree is dead or split, we'll tell you where the weak wood is and how we plan to work around it before we start.

Storm calls come first. If a tree is on your house, blocking your drive, or hung up over something you use every day, call and we'll get out as quick as we can — often the same day in Warrensburg and the closer towns. After a wide storm we work in the order calls come in, worst first.

Yes. Wood, brush, and limbs go with us the same day unless you want the wood left for firewood — plenty of people do, just say so. We rake the yard down before we leave.

We do, and it's worth doing at the same visit while we're already set up. We grind below grade so you can seed over it or plant something else there. Grindings get hauled off or left to fill the hole, your call.

Fully insured, and we'll send you the certificate before we start if you want to see it. Ask any crew you're considering for theirs — a tree over a house is not the place to find out somebody isn't covered.
